Security Cameras and Network Equipment for Syunik Front Line Outpost

Little Bird Armenian Development is a New York based 501c3 non-profit organization with a mission to provide support to vulnerable villages and communities across Armenia. Areas of focus include, but are not limited to: safety/security, village empowerment, education, disaster/trauma relief, and cultural preservation. The necessary items to setup one outpost include:
– Security Cameras (regular and thermal vision)
– Hardened Power Over Ethernet Network Switches
– Monitors
– Security NVRs
– External Hard Drives
– Network/Ethernet Cable

Additional items depending on the existing electricity situation include:
– Solar Power Inverters
– Gel Batteries
– Solar Panels

We’ve accomplished this once for an outpost that had their own solar panels already. We needed to provide them with additional batteries and inverters. All of the above equipment can be purchased/ordered in Yerevan so no shipping is necessary. We will be in Hayastan the second half of May and will drive the equipment to Syunik and deliver personally once we have collected the funds.

A major factor in effective defense is the ability to see at night, recognize threats, and mitigate them. This is a need that was expressed directly to me when I was visiting the front line in November of 2022 and again when we delivered our first round of cameras in January 2023. Night time is when we’re most vulnerable. It’s also when most of the Azerbaijani attacks begin.

While we can all agree that this is the responsibility of the government, they aren’t fulfilling their responsibilities. Since someone has to, we will – with your help.
